A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

Different surfaces hold water differently — concrete, hardwood, and carpet pad each need their own extraction technique and dwell time, not a single generic approach applied to all three.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear the obvious water fast, then go after what's still trapped in materials.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Local staging is what makes rapid arrival possible, rather than a promise with nothing behind it.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Morton"Our office flooded overnight and extraction was finished before staff walked in for the morning shift."
Rosalind P., Morton"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Morton"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Morton"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., MortonIf your question about water extraction isn't covered here, call +1-844-578-1604 and we'll walk you through it directly.
Our water extraction coverage spans 61550 61650, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Morton address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
